Why PC Chef™?
We’re on a mission to make dinnertime feel effortless. Our subscription-free meal kits simplify the planning and prep with pre-portioned ingredients and step-by-step instructions, so you have more time to eat together more often.
What are PC Chef™ Meal Kits?
PC Chef™ is a new product line from President’s Choice that helps Canadians take the guesswork out of dinnertime. PC Chef™ Meal Kits offers a range of chef-inspired meals with pre-portioned ingredients and step-by-step instructions with no subscription required.
What is included in my PC Chef™ Meal Kit?
PC Chef™ Meal Kits includes pre-portioned ingredients and a recipe card with step-by-step instructions. PC Chef™ Ready Meals are fully-prepared recipes you can heat and eat. If you aren't home for your delivery, just let us know at checkout. For an additional $5, we will place your meals in a cooler box to keep your meals cold for up to 4 hours from the time of delivery.
How does it work?
Browse and order subscription-free meals that suit your taste buds. We’ll deliver your meals to your home for a delivery fee of $5. Prepare your meal using the pre-portioned ingredients and step-by-step instructions. Then, dig in and enjoy!
How many people does my PC Chef™ Meal Kit serve?
PC Chef™ Meal Kits offers a range of recipes that are perfect for 1 to 4 people. We are continuing to add new recipes and options to our menu.
How long will my PC Chef™ Meal Kits stay fresh for?
Upon delivery PC Chef™ Meal Kits will stay fresh for up to five days in the refrigerator. If your meal is delivered in a cooler box, ensure your meal is placed in the refrigerator within 4 hours after delivery. You can also refer to the best before date on the packaging.
What about allergies and dietary restrictions?
You can find a detailed ingredients list on each meal’s packaging, as well as its product page on our website before ordering, so you can make the best choice about whether a product’s right for you. We are always developing new recipes. Stay up to date by subscribing to our newsletter. For any further questions on allergies or dietary restrictions, please reach out to our Customer Service team.
Is my PC Chef™ meal kit recycleable?
Here’s how to recycle your PC Chef™ Meal Kit:
- Fold the craft bag and cardboard flat and recycle them along with the recipe card.
- Recycle the Ready Meals CPET tray. The heatproof film is not recyclable.
- Feel free to reuse bottles and containers, or recycle according to your city’s guidelines.

Where else can I purchase PC Chef™ meal kits?

Where do you deliver?
PC Chef™ Meal Kits are currently available for delivery in select areas of the Greater Toronto Area. Be the first to know when we deliver to new locations by subscribing to our newsletter. Find out if we delivery to your area HERE.
What are your standard delivery days and times?
We currently deliver from Wednesday to Saturday between 8 A.M.– 6 P.M. We do not offer scheduled delivery at this time. Please note your delivery day may be scheduled for the next available day due to delivery capacity.
How much does delivery cost?
There is a $5.00 flat rate delivery fee for all eligible delivery locations.
Is there a minimum order of PC Chef™ Meal Kits for delivery?
There is no minimum to order PC Chef™ Meal Kits for delivery until August 31, 2020.
What happens if I’m not home for my delivery?
Deliveries take place between the hours of 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. If you will not be home to receive your order during that time, you can let us know at checkout. We will place your meals in a cooler box an additional $5. The cooler box will keep your meal kits in refrigerated conditions (4°C/40°F) for up to 4 hours after delivery. Refrigerate your order by the time indicated on the delivery sticker provided.
Will I be notified when my order is delivered?
Yes. You will receive a notification when your order is within 1 hour of delivery and a notification when your delivery is complete.
How do you deliver to condos and apartment buildings?
For all condo and apartment building deliveries, we will place your meals in a cooler box to keep your meal kits cool. Your name will also be on the shipping label to ensure it finds you. If your building has a concierge or front desk reception, your delivery will be safely left with them. If not, our delivery team will call you once they’ve arrived. Your meal kits will be left in the safest location possible and remain at refrigerated conditions (4°C/40°F) for up to 4 hours after delivery.
What happens if there is a delay with my delivery?
It’s our goal to stay within our standard delivery times. If there happens to be a change with your scheduled delivery, we will let you know as soon as possible by email. We will provide you with updated delivery time options as well as refund details.
What if I was unable to refrigerate my order by the indicated time?
If you are unable to refrigerate your order by the indicated time on your cooler bag please reach out to our Customer Service team.
How do I change my order?
You may cancel your order or modify the order (including adding or removing products or changing quantities) up until 10:00 a.m. on the day prior to the scheduled Delivery Day for your order (the “Cut-off Time”) by contacting Customer Service by phone at 1-855-951-3883 or by email at email@example.com, [Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST]. If you try to make any cancellation or modification after the Cut-off Time, we cannot guarantee that the order will be cancelled or that the modification will be made.
What is a PC™ id?
A PC identification is a universal login that can be used to access your accounts across a variety of Loblaw and Shoppers Drug Mart Inc online platforms. If you are registered with JoeFresh.ca, beautyBOUTIQUE.ca or an online grocery banner, you already have one. Your PC™ ID is your email address and password and used as your login information when you shop online. For more information about PC ID visit the PC Optimum customer support page HERE.
Can I earn PC Optimum™ points?
Yes, PC Optimum is available for online PC Chef™ delivery orders at www.pcchef.ca during promotion periods only. All points earned will be applied to your PC Optimum account within 10 business days. If you do not have a PC Optimum account, sign up here.
Can I use PC Optimum™ Points on PC Chef™ products?
You cannot redeem PC Optimum Points for on PC Chef™ delivery orders. You can, however, redeem your PC Optimum Points in store!
Is there a fee or subscription with PC Chef™ meal kits?
PC Chef™ Meal Kits do not have a subscription fee. If you are ordering for delivery, there is a flat rate delivery fee of $5.00 and for a limited time, no mimum order required until August 31, 2020."
What are the payment options available on pchcef.ca?
We accept PC Mastercard, Visa and Mastercard.
Why don't you accept American Express?
Loblaw is dedicated to keeping its costs low and passing these savings onto our customers wherever possible. Given the costs associated with American Express, accepting MasterCard and Visa is an example of how we work to keep our costs down and help support our commitment to providing greater value to our customers.
Can I get a refund or return the product?
If you are not satisfied with your product, we are happy to provide you with a full refund. We do not accept returns. For refunds, please reach out to our Customer Service team.
How is PC Chef™ responding to COVID-19?
To ensure the health and safety of our customers and colleagues, we’ve implemented a number of new measures. These include strict safety and sanitization processes in our commissary, providing drivers with masks and hand sanitizer and offering a contactless delivery to your home.
